A wintery design, and a sale in my shop!

I made this before I made the "Pink Picnic" design. I am calling this one "Winter Flowers" and I think the darker colors make it perfect for winter. By the way, I have a sale in my etsy shop! If you buy two fat quarters they are just $7 each instead of $9. I'd love to see what you guys make with them if you get some! I'll post a picture tomorrow of a quilt made with the "Tweet Stack" fabric that Amy won a few weeks ago. It's so cute!

Wow, I haven't blogged in awhile! I've been super, super busy. Here is a little secret...I am creating a childrens bedding line for a really neat company. I'm super excited about it, but I'm also very busy. I can honestly say though, I love a good challenge!

I'm going to keep up with the artwork prints, and also add more fabric prints. Please don't forget to check in my shop for adorable fabric (which I lowered my prices on by the way). I'm going to do a special christmas fabric as a limited edition for this year. I haven't decided what to do just yet....any ideas of what direction I should go with it? I know I want it to be christmas themed, but not sure what exactly I'll do. Christmas trees? A little manger scene? Snowflakes?

The seasons are changing here, and I love it! We are having such beautiful weather and it's making me want to get to work on some fun fall projects. I'm thinking of a handmade christmas this year! This will be so fun!

Giveaway!

Hi everyone! My sister has a fabulous shop full of adorable, funky, trendy jewelry. She is such a fashionable momma, and loves making others look "put together" and feel good about themselves. She wanted to start a shop to sell this awesome jewelry so she can make some extra money to stay at home with her two rambunctious little men. So, she's going to have her first giveaway! And, boy are you lucky because she's giving away a set perfect for this fall. Imagine going to the orchard sporting this trendy pair! Hello? a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.!
The winner will receive a bracelet and matching earings (pictured above). Now, what you've gotta do is go to her etsy shop which is here http://www.seobstar.etsy.com and pick out your favorite item, or think of something she should make next that she doesn't have (suggestions are always good). Come back here and comment. On Monday, I will announce a winner! Yay! Get goin' and check out her shop people!

There are some really, really cute patterns on etsy. I love this one. It shows you how to make a little handbag with just a fat quarter of fabric! So cute! Check out her shop for more goodies. I love her stuffed animals.
I've started listing my fabrics in my etsy shop. Hooray! We'll see how that goes. I really feel like I should spruce up my photo taking skills, but hey, I need a new camera! In the meantime I'll use what I've got, and hopefully start selling some fabric. I'd love to see what others are making with it! Have a great weekend everyone!

Here are my latest art prints. I've been super busy! Oh, and in case you can't tell, that's Psalm 27:4 in the first one.

Hey, my sister just opened up a shop on etsy, and she makes the trendiest, cutest stuff. I'm not much of a fashion diva, but she is, and she LOVES making people look stylish. Please stop over and take a look. Her stuff is very reasonably priced, and would make really great gifts. Helloooooo early christmas shopping? Her shop is http://seobstar.etsy.com/

Hurry up already and check it out! Go! :)

Oh, and head over to Abby's blog to see some really adorable art too. She's going to be opening up a shop very soon and you won't want to miss it! http://petermariecharlton.blogspot.com/

I'm waiting for these four yards of fabric to show up in my mailbox next week. I can't wait to see how they look! I'll be listing them in my etsy shop (the same shop I sell my wall art prints) so be sure to take a look. Let me know if you'd like to pre-order and I'll be sure to save you some.

Thanks so much to those of you who voted for my fabric on spoonflower. I'm in the lead right now, and I am so thankful. The voting ends on Wednesday so stop on over and vote if you haven't yet. It's in the lower left hand side of the http://www.spoonflower.com/ website where it has fabric of the week voting. Again, mine are the christmas owls.

Which of the fabrics above do you like best? I'm trying to decide which one to order more of right now. Thanks everyone!
