Fruits of the Spirit!

I usually have quite a few people ask to see the prints I make framed. I know it's hard to visualize what things look like online without a frame. Here's one of my most popular, classic prints - The Fruits of the Spirit. It matches just about any decor! You can find it here!

Here's what my new favorite print looks like framed.

Anyone else guilty of NOT living in the moment? It's hard to do, but I'm really, really trying to be more conscious of it. I want to live with intention. Enjoy every moment. Find happiness in the ordinary. I don't want to forget these days!

Hi all! I'm going to be writing more here now that I *think* my address isn't under some weird name anymore! Something was showing up wrong and I did some behind the scenes work, so I think we're good :).

Last weekend I went to Women of Faith with my good friend, mom and sisters. It was awesome - amazing- uplifting - sad - emotional - and I am so glad I went!

I feel like I need weekends like that about once a month. Ya know? Not once a year. How can I make that happen? :)

A couple of things on my mind and verses I've taken away from the weekend are weighing on me...and when I say "weighing" on me, I don't mean in a bad way. I mean in a powerful, awesome way!

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."  - James 1:2-3

I'm going to consider it all JOY. Gonna make some artwork on that soon.

This brave, brave woman spoke. She's been through a mother's worst nightmare. God bless her. She was inspiring to listen to...but it also broke my heart.

I love Sheila Walsh. She told a story I had not heard before. She has always struggled with depression issues, and it was so true when she talked about how we all have issues. No one is "normal", and we've all got something we are going through. Every last one of us! If you are not going through something now, you will be soon, because we know this is Earth, not Heaven. We're going to face trials because God said we would!

The good news? He's already overcome the world! Alleluia!

Oh, and I also turned 30 over the weekend. Yipee!!! I know my 30's are going to be filled with so much happiness. I know it deep in my heart. I'm thanking the Lord in advance for that. :)

Here's a photo of two out of my three sisters (we're on the bottom -I'm in the middle), and my good friends celebrating my birthday! They surprised me....I feel so blessed!

I just wanted to thank you all for voting for me! I didn't make the top 10 for the contest, but I am just so happy and blessed that Michael Miller and his team chose me for the semi-finals! Yay!

I've been working on some new fabric designs. I found a sketchbook from awhile ago, and have been having so much fun making new sketches!

Here's my latest print set - it's for sale in my etsy shop, and my website. It is a set of three, separate 8 by 10 prints. I hope you love it! :)

I'm super excited and SO blessed to have been chosen as a semi-finalist in this baby boy fabric design contest. I named it after my 5 year old son.

Have you seen this set made for the bathroom mirror?
While I was in the shower this morning (yes, I actually showered today! Glory alleluia), I was saying this outloud.
Outloud.
Your grace is sufficient for me.
Your power is made perfect, when I am weak.
All that I cling to, I lay at your feet.
Your grace is sufficient for me.
I love Joyce Meyer and listen to her alot. She always talks about saying things outloud and how it is more powerful. It's true. Try it for yourself.
It makes it more intentional. It feels good. :)

Be anxious for nothing.

Anxious people are always trying to live ahead of where they currently are. They spend their day trying to figure out tomorrow and the result is the loss of simplicity.
Give yourself - your thoughts, your conversation, your energies, every part of you - to the day at hand.
Give yourself to what you are doing.
You will sense an awareness enabling you to enjoy the current activity, instead of going through the day in a blur of activity and confusing thoughts that leave you drained and exhausted.

Anyone else need to hear this every once in a while? These are bits and pieces from one of the chapters in a Joyce Meyer book of mine.
Let it sink in folks.
